Training Grievance Policy

Eddy Wellness is committed to providing high-quality continuing education experiences in a
respectful, professional, and inclusive learning environment. We value participant feedback and
encourage concerns to be addressed promptly so they can be reviewed fairly, resolved
whenever possible, and used to strengthen the quality of our educational programs.

Submitting a Grievance
Participants who wish to file a grievance regarding a training program, instructor, educational content, accessibility, learning environment, administrative processes, or other training-related matter must submit the grievance in writing via email to [email protected].

To assist in a timely review, the written grievance should include:
  • The participant's name and contact information.
  • The title and date of the training.
  • A detailed description of the concern or incident.
  • Any relevant supporting documentation, if applicable.
  • The outcome or resolution being requested, if applicable.

Review Process
Upon receipt, Eddy Wellness will acknowledge the grievance and begin a review of the information provided. Grievances are reviewed impartially by a representative who was not directly involved in the matter whenever feasible.

Additional information may be requested from the participant or other individuals involved to ensure a fair, objective, and thorough review. All grievances are evaluated based on the facts available and in accordance with Eddy Wellness policies, applicable laws, and continuing education standards.

Response Timeline
Participants will receive a written response within 5–10 business days of receipt of the grievance. If additional time is required due to the complexity of the matter or the need for further investigation, the participant will be notified of the delay and provided with an estimated timeline for completion of the review.

Resolution
Following review, Eddy Wellness will determine whether corrective action or other appropriate measures are warranted. Depending on the circumstances, resolutions may include clarification of policies, corrective administrative actions, improvements to educational content or procedures, additional instructor support or training, or other actions intended to maintain the quality and integrity of our continuing education programs.

Submission of a grievance does not guarantee a specific outcome or remedy. While participants will be informed when the review has been completed, Eddy Wellness will not disclose confidential personnel matters, employment decisions, disciplinary actions, or other information protected by privacy or legal obligations. The individual submitting the grievance may therefore not be notified of the specific actions taken when those actions involve confidential personnel or organizational matters.

Continuous Quality Improvement
Eddy Wellness reviews grievance trends and participant feedback as part of its ongoing quality improvement process. When appropriate, information gathered through the grievance process is used to evaluate training effectiveness, improve educational content and instructional methods, strengthen administrative procedures, and enhance future continuing education programs.

Recordkeeping and Confidentiality
Grievances, supporting documentation, and resulting actions will be documented and maintained in accordance with applicable continuing education recordkeeping requirements. Information will be shared only with individuals who have a legitimate need to participate in the review or resolution of the matter, except as otherwise required by law.

Non-Retaliation
Participants may submit a grievance without fear of retaliation. Eddy Wellness is committed to maintaining a respectful educational environment and will not discriminate against or retaliate against any participant for raising a good-faith concern or participating in the grievance process.

Scope of This Policy
This grievance procedure applies to concerns related to Eddy Wellness continuing education programs, including educational quality, instructor conduct, accessibility, administrative processes, and participant experience. This policy does not replace or supersede any legal rights or remedies available under applicable federal or state law.
